Meet Chloie

Chloie MacGregor brings a powerful combination of intellect, empathy, and determination to her role as an Associate Attorney at Phillips Law. A graduate of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Chloie developed her courtroom skills and client-centered approach early on through Loyola’s Criminal Defense Clinic, where she managed a docket of felony cases as a Rule XX Student Practitioner. From pre-trial hearings and jail visits to direct client advocacy, she gained hands-on experience that now shapes the way she approaches every defense.

Before joining Phillips Law, Chloie honed her skills working with the Capital Defense Project of Louisiana and the New Orleans Pro Bono Project, assisting on complex criminal and capital cases alongside some of the state’s most respected attorneys. Her commitment to justice also took her abroad, studying international law in both Spetses and Vienna and earning a certificate in International Legal Studies.

At Phillips Law, Chloie is known for her sharp legal writing, meticulous research, and unwavering work ethic. She analyzes discovery, drafts persuasive motions, and crafts strategic legal memos that strengthen every client’s defense. Her colleagues describe her as proactive, thorough, and deeply compassionate—a combination that brings both rigor and humanity to every case she touches.

A Utah native with roots now firmly planted in New Orleans, Chloie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Westminster College and previously served as a Behavior Specialist Assistant at the Pingree Autism Center, providing therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. When she’s not in the office, Chloie loves shopping, cooking, and spending time with her beloved pets. Her warmth, insight, and dedication make her an indispensable member of the Phillips Law team.

"One of my favorite parts of this job is diving into the investigative process. I love uncovering every detail, finding new ways to support our clients, and building a case that makes a real difference in their lives. It’s rewarding to know each piece I uncover brings us closer to the best outcome for them."
