With a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Georgia and over 20 years of experience as a science teacher in the Georgia public school system, Laura Clayton has built a fulfilling “second-life” career at Phillips Law—now serving as our Paralegal. Her background in education equipped her with the organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills that make her an invaluable part of our legal team.
Laura supports our attorneys by reviewing and organizing discovery from the District Attorney, drafting motions, preparing case memos, and ensuring accurate, timely filings. She also assists with client communication and keeps case files streamlined so the legal team can focus on advocacy.
