Meet Sarah
Sarah Phillips is a New Orleans-based senior attorney at Phillips Law, where she focuses on criminal defense and personal injury matters. Originally from Georgia, Sarah made New Orleans her home after graduating from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she led the Trial Advocacy Program and earned the Order of the Barristers for excellence in courtroom advocacy.
Since 2010, Sarah and her husband, Bradley Phillips, have defended more than 800 criminal clients and secured over $1.6 million in personal injury settlements across Louisiana. In the personal injury arena, Sarah’s practice covers everything from soft-tissue claims to complex multi-vehicle and catastrophic injury cases, with deep experience in car and truck collisions, pedestrian and bicycle accidents, and rideshare (Lyft/Uber) incidents. With hundreds of hours of continuing education in injury litigation and medical-legal intersection, she regularly communicates directly with medical providers to ensure clients receive optimal treatment and full recovery.
On the criminal defense side, Sarah has practiced continuously since 2011 alongside Bradley, focusing on case review, investigation, trial preparation, motion practice, and strong legal writing. Her longstanding experience brings both strategic depth and practical insight to each matter.
Clients know Sarah as a relentless advocate who sees every case as a chance to shift the odds in a person’s favor. Whether battling insurance companies or navigating the criminal justice system, she combines empathy, precision, and seasoned trial experience to stand firmly in her clients’ corner.
"I know how overwhelming it feels when your future is suddenly uncertain. My job is to be the calm in that storm—to listen, to explain what’s happening, and to fight for the best possible outcome. Every client deserves to feel seen, heard, and defended."
